Every plate in these pages is drawn for this collection. Each one teaches something the text says: the order of the wash day, the direction a comb should travel, the moisture stack, the shape of a week, the map of where tension goes first, and the anatomy of an ingredient list. None of them is a before-and-after, none shows hair growing, and nothing in them is presented as a result.

Editorial photographs from Wikimedia Commons, used under the licences below and colour-graded for this site. Nobody in these photographs used this method, none of them is a customer, and no photograph here shows a result of anything — there are no before-and-after images in this collection at all.
